CrowdStrike and NVIDIA have launched the SafeMind agentic cybersecurity system and Falcon IQ, advancing defenses against automated cyber threats.

At CrowdStrike’s Fal.Con 2026 in Las Vegas, company CEO and founder George Kurtz, alongside NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, signaled a pivotal shift in cybersecurity. Huang highlighted that current cyber threats are increasingly automated, creating an urgent need for similarly advanced defensive measures.
This collaboration unveiled SafeMind, an agentic cybersecurity system crafted by the CrowdStrike Cyber Superintelligence Lab. Huang asserted, “We’re at an inflection point in cybersecurity... On one hand, adversaries will become more sophisticated; on the other, so will defenders.” This sentiment was echoed by Kurtz, who identified a critical gap in cyber defense capabilities: “The attackers had frontier AI; the defenders didn’t. And that changes now.”
SafeMind: A New Paradigm
SafeMind leverages NVIDIA’s Nemotron models, fine-tuned with CrowdStrike's extensive cyber expertise and threat data. The dual approach of merging offensive and defensive AI in a continuous coevolution allows for simultaneous adaptation and refinement of strategies, fortifying customer security until attacks are effectively thwarted.
The system integrates within the existing CrowdStrike Falcon platform, featuring SafeMind as its operational core. Huang noted the potential for enhancing cybersecurity performance dramatically, stating that by harnessing over a decade’s worth of security data for training, the system could evolve into a highly effective defender akin to a super AGI.
CrowdStrike emphasizes that SafeMind isn’t merely an extension of existing models or a basic support mechanism. Instead, Kurtz points out that this is the first complete agentic system in cybersecurity, uniquely developed and tailored for real-world defense applications. “This isn’t a copilot baked into someone else’s intelligence.
Central to SafeMind is the NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra, directing the defensive agent harness, while the Nemotron 3 Super powers the rule-generation features within SafeMind. CrowdStrike reported that the Blue Solano model, enhanced by post-training on CrowdStrike's data, demonstrated significantly improved accuracy rates—99% better than other leading models—while operating at a markedly reduced cost.
Interestingly, while SafeMind functions as a cohesive unit, its components can operate independently. This flexibility allows security professionals to utilize CrowdStrike's harness technology with their own models, fitting the solutions to their unique organizational needs.
Huang elaborated on this architecture, likening the custom harness to an exoskeleton that enables the large language model’s capabilities. Each harness can be uniquely adapted, reflecting the distinct requirements of various domains.
The AI Arms Race
The demand for AI-driven defense solutions is increasingly pressing, especially as AI-enabled attacks surged by 89% over the past year. The rapid onset of cyber threats, evidenced by the average eCrime response time of merely 27 seconds, underscores the inadequacy of traditional human-paced defenses. “Human-speed response isn’t defense; it’s documentation,” Huang observed, emphasizing the need for rapid, autonomous action.
Huang asserted that the creation of the Nemotron framework facilitates high degree of customization for specific security environments without violating data privacy norms. This contrasts with many closed frontier models, where users lack the insight and adaptability crucial in cybersecurity.
Dynamic Testing Environment
NVIDIA announced that it is conducting comprehensive evaluations of the SafeMind system within a controlled high-fidelity cyber agent environment, designed to simulate real-world conditions faced by NVIDIA networks. This testing engages both offensive and defensive agents in an ongoing loop of adversarial coevolution. Through this process, offensive agents discover vulnerabilities, while defensive counterparts mitigate these threats, converting insights into actionable preventive measures.
The structure of this testing environment employs a digital twin of NVIDIA’s accelerated computing infrastructure, carefully aligning it with actual threat patterns that NVIDIA encounters. Huang noted that the framework of SafeMind—emphasizing a continuous learning loop between offensive and defensive strategies—has broader applications in various domains, including robotics and enterprise computing.
Alongside SafeMind, CrowdStrike unveiled Falcon IQ, which utilizes NVIDIA Nemotron models to develop a no-code agent-building platform known as Charlotte AI AgentWorks. Falcon IQ orchestrates over 50 agents that work cohesively to automate labor-intensive tasks such as assessment, prioritization, and remediation, offering streamlined outputs and customized intelligence to users.
Comprehensive Cybersecurity Solutions
CrowdStrike maintains a significant advantage in the cybersecurity arena, with thousands of customer organizations collectively generating trillions of daily security events. The collaboration with NVIDIA encompasses a full-stack approach, integrating everything from hardware chips to advanced models that respond to articulated threats. For Kurtz, the true "crowd" within CrowdStrike—comprising a vast community of cybersecurity experts—puts defenders in a transcendent position to counter threats effectively.
As the cybersecurity landscape continually evolves, the enhancements brought forth by CrowdStrike and NVIDIA signal a proactive shift toward an automated, defense-oriented approach that prioritizes real-time adaptation and robust countermeasures against sophisticated cyber threats.
